Collaboration vs competition

There’s a big consolidation going on in the lettings industry. Smaller agents are selling up at a frenetic pace.

And can you blame them? There are so many more challenges now than there ever was before:

1) Suffocating and relentless legislation

2) Rising operating costs

3) Keeping up with the marketing capabilities of the bigger agents

4) Finding, training and retaining good people

…to name but a few.

Those of us that are left could be networking more closely, sharing knowledge, systems and strategies to improve our offerings for landlords and tenants.

We’ve got a great opportunity to take the professionalism of our industry to the next level.
